Venue:
Campus of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Seropédica, RJ, Brazil, about 80 km north-west of Rio de Janeiro.

Accomodations:
The official hotel will be Tulip Inn Itaguaí, City of Itaguaí, RJ (Rodovia Rio-Santos, km 398 - http://www.tulipinnitaguai.com). We advise the participants to book the hotel using the following email: [email protected]. Do not forget to mention that you are going to participate in the 3^rd International Soil Judging Contest (to get the discount price). The accommodation costs are not included in the registration and must be paid by the participants.

Participants:
90 (organizers and competitors).

Participant eligibility:
Full time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled before the contest in 2018.

Team composition:
One coach and four students (undergraduate students are preferred and encouraged).

Entrance fee:
Free.

Registration:
All the students, coaches and even the volunteers must be registered for 21WCSS.

Awards:
Individual, team event and overall.

Transportation:
The transfer from the hotel to the contest site will be provided.

Food:
Lunches and snacks will be provided by the organizers.

Contest equipment:
All the individual equipment needed for soil judging, such as: soil knife, water bottle, color chart, clinometer, etc., must be provided by competitors as only limited number can be supplied by the organizers. No communication-capable devices will be allowed during the contest. More information will be available soon.
