In 2008, Brazil was considered the largest world exporter of ethanol. The country has the fourth largest aircraft manufacturer in the world and the largest Airspace industry. Brazil also produces aircrafts, agricultural equipment, military equipment, executive jets and satellites. The country has the 13th place in the ranking of nations with high volume of scientific production. Brazilian agriculture is considered the most advanced in the tropical region, thanks to the advances in research and technology.
