During its 69 years of activities, integrated and maintained for more than 1,500 active members, working in all regions of the country, the SBCS has been responsible for profound changes in Brazilian agriculture, from research and studies produced by its members in different national and international institutions. Based on this history, the SBCS is the most consolidated scientific society in the area of Agricultural Sciences in the country. The SBCS and its members are proud to contribute to the success of agribusiness in the Brazilian economy and undertake the responsibility to fulfill its role in the dissemination and knowledge of Soil Science.
